PJ & Sami had such a lovely September wedding and I am so happy to share their photos with you. They were married in a sweet grove at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. The whole place had so much rustic character. Their day was filled with family and friends all around them, celebrating their love - many, traveled from near and far. Here is a snippet from their beautiful wedding day - these are such special moments.
I’m excited to share Audrey & Trevor’s Wedding day with you. They were married on a warm, sunny day in September in the beautiful Wilsonville forest. It was Audrey’s dream to have her ceremony in the forest and they were so lucky to find the perfect spot, just down from the barn where they were having their reception. It was such a magical and beautiful day! The sun peaked through the forest and they looked gorgeous. They worked hard on creating their own details, and it shows. There were flowers everywhere, along with pretty plates and fun details of them throughout the barn. They continued the day with sentimental toasts, to a fun photo booth, to dancing the night away and then happily extended the party to the bowling alley. It was super fun to photograph and a day full of love!
“This was such a fun photo shoot - a surprise wedding in the Park Blocks in Portland! Jennifer & Erik surprised their daughters by throwing themselves a wedding ceremony. The girls had no idea, they just thought they were getting together for a fun weekend in Portland and to their surprise their parents got married - with their best friend as the officiant. It was so sweet and the love was flowing! The girls were so excited and happy for them; it was such a beautiful day, warm and perfect. They frolicked through the city after the ceremony then headed to the Nines Hotel, where we went straight up to the top bar of Departures. I especially love the pictures of all of them on the roof. The champagne was popped and celebrations continued. It was so awesome to be their photographer to capture a very special moment for them.”
Madison and Christian were married on a gorgeous August day at Tumwater Vineyards on Pete’s Mountain. Such a romantic location to declare their love for each other! Everything from the brides wedding dress, the flowers, down to the cupcakes were elegant and beautifully done. Congratulations, and all my best to you both!
Melissa & Nick were married on a beautiful summer day in a cabin on Mt. Hood. Photographing weddings is such an honor - you see families come together and happiness is everywhere! Melissa & Nick were no exception; they had dated for many years and were so happy to be getting married in a small backyard venue, surrounded by family & friends. Congratulations, Melissa and Nick! I wish you many, many years of happiness!
With Wedding season upon us, I am so happy to post Anna & Cameron's Wedding Day! Their wedding was so fun and beautiful! They were married up in the Gorge at Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast. It is such a beautiful spot and we were able to capture awesome photos & thankfully one photo of Mt. Hood that had been hidden most of the day due to the fires in the area. But that didn't stop us from having a wonderful day. Anna's dress is so beautiful, the long train is stunning! I just love how playful they are and you can just see the love flowing everywhere as they danced the night away...
With Valentines Day upon us, I'd like to share the love from Tiffany and Jake's Wedding Day. It was just about a year ago we were sitting around planning their wedding photography. It all came together so beautifully! The venue they chose was the Zenith Vineyard, in Salem, and we loved photographing there. We explored their vineyards, the fountain, the beautiful old barn and many other unique backdrops, which contributed to some lovely photos. Tiffany has wonderful taste and I just loved her accents, from her beautiful eucalyptus flower crown to her flowing wedding dress. And Jake had some awesome accents too, a lego boutonniere & a cool tie. And who didn't love the Mexican hats for the Groomsmen, after all it was May 5th, Cinco de Mayo. After all the excitement they drove off in a gorgeous orange Corvette. Doesn't it all sound so romantic...It was a fantastic day and it didn't rain! Check out their awesome Wedding Day.
